(CDP). Laurea in business administration e conseguimento di un corso master post universitario in intermediazione finanziaria e finanza d’impresa. Dal 2017 al 2019 ha assunto per Simest la carica di consigliere di amministrazione della Società finanziaria di promozione della cooperazione economica con i paesi dell’est Europa – Finest S.p.A. Dal 2016 al 2019 in Simest Spa (gruppo CDP) ha ricoperto il ruolo di responsabile “New Equity Relationships” e del “Business Development, Marketing ed International Relationships” gestendo l’origination e l’execution di numerose operazioni di investimento (equity, mezzanine debt, soft loan e trade finance). Dal 2005 al 2016 ha diretto, tra l’altro, l’area “Relationship Management” e prima il dipartimento Relazioni Commerciali della Direzione Finanziamenti Enti Pubblici e Infrastrutture di CDP occupandosi dello sviluppo di nuovi prodotti, dell’origination e strutturazione di operazioni di finanziamento di opere pubbliche, infrastrutture e real estate development. Tra il 1998 ed il 2005 è stato responsabile per l’ Italia dello “Structured Finance Origination”e del “Debt Capital Market Origination” di ABN AmroBank N.V. curando oltre 30 emissioni di debito senior, cartolarizzazioni e covered bond per un valore complessivo superiore agli Euro 15 miliardi oltre ad alcune IPOs.
In precedenza (1988-98) è stato trader di strumenti di tesoreria a breve e lungo termine e quindi responsabile del “Servizio Finanza d’Impresa, Emissioni Obbligazionarie e Cartolarizzazioni” presso la Direzione Finanza della Banca Nazionale del Lavoro S.p.A a Roma e Londra.

57 years old, he is currently part-time visiting lecturer at LUISS University’s Business Schools in Rome where he holds lessons on management and strategy of internationalized companies within the International and Executives MBA Programs. From February 2020 he works as an independent senior financial advisors with a specific focus in Corporate and Structured Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions and Financing of internationalization process. After he graduated in Economics and Business Administration, he completed a one-year post degree master course in Financial Markets and Corporate Finance. Overall he totalized more than 30 years of professional experience in the banking and corporate finance sector, firstly as a product specialist and then as a Corporate and Investment Banking senior relationship manager servicing prime Italian and international banks and, during the last 15 years, from 2005 to the end of 2019, as an Executive Director Cassa e Depositi e Prestiti SpA Group (CDP) the Italian National Promotional Institution controlled by the Italian Treasury.
During his latest three and half year with CDP Group, he worked as a Managing Director in Simest S.p.A., a subsidiary of CDP, which jointly with SACE fosters export and internationalization operations of Italian corporates either via trade-credit guarantees, debt or equity underwriting. Furthermore, from 2017 to 2019, he was appointed by Simest as a board member of Finest Spa – Società Finanziaria per l’Internazionalizzazione delle Imprese del Nord-Est, Pordenone, Italy – a regional agency established by the Italian State to support the internationalization of medium and small enterprises established in the North-eastern regions of Italy (Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Trentino).
Overall he structured and executed debt, equity, corporate and export finance transactions for clients of a variety of industrial sectors (Food, Fashion, Automotive, Heavy Industries, Consumer, Services, etc) and legal natures including, inter alias and in addition to corporates, supranational, sovereign, quasi-sovereign banks. During the last three and half years of his career with Simest and Finest he resulted involved in the origination, structuring and approval of all most 150 offshore transactions relating to companies’ internationalization projects and the management of export trading risks for a total nominal amount in the range of € 1 billion.
He frequently acts as a speaker or a panelist at various Public Events in Finance and Internationalization of Corporates.
